This vegan strawberry shortcake smoothie recipe is filing, sweet, and oh so delicious!
And it’s the perfect way to easily elevate a simple banana and strawberry smoothie.

Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie Ingredients
This vegan strawberry shortcake smoothie is super simple to make as it is essentially an elevated version to a banana and strawberry smoothie.
Frozen Banana: This adds a nice creamy and thick consistency to the smoothie
Frozen Strawberry: The key to this recipe!
Cinnamon: A good dash is all you need to elevate your smoothie
Maple Syrup: Adds a sweet touch!
Vanilla Protein Powder: My favourite is this Maple Vanilla protein, but add whatever you prefer.
Plant-Based Milk: I used macadamia nut milk, but you can use whatever you prefer or have on hand!

Tips To Make This Recipe
#1: FROZEN FRUIT
Make sure your bananas and strawberries have been chilling in the freezer for at least 12-24 hours. By freezing your fruit it will make the consistency of this smoothie more creamy.
#2 LESS MILK
Always start by adding a little bit of the recommended milk and then slowly add more as you’re blending. This is because everyone’s blender is different and everyone’s fruit will be at different levels of frozen.
By adding less milk at a time you can achieve your perfect smoothie consistency. If you place the whole amount of milk in it may come out too liquid-y (unless that your jam!).
