What is BCAA?
In this paragraph, I’ll explain what BCAA is. First, BCAA contains three amino acids: leucine, isoleucine, and valine. Your body cannot produce these amino acids, yet they are essential for your health. Therefore, BCAA must be obtained through diet.
Secondly, it is important to know that it can be harder to obtain these 3 specific amino acids on a plant based diet. As a result, some vegans choose to supplement, especially those that weight train or do body building.
Benefits of BCAA:
- increases muscle growth
- decreases muscle soreness
- reduces tiredness and fatigue
